Biography

Bernard is a highly experienced Founder / CEO who started, scaled, and exited multiple payments businesses in Africa over a 30-year span, including the well-known Paynet Group (now Interswitch East Africa). In 2018 Bernard moved to the UK and joined Private Equity newcomer Motive Partners as Client Partner where he has contributed to its rapid success by helping to create an industry leading innovation capability. A major part of his role has been leading relationships with large banks from around the globe as part of an innovation collaboration. Bernard still chairs a number of businesses in Kenya.
