Growing Small Businesses

Building customer loyalty

A powerful platform for a bank's merchants,
improving their customers value.

Issuer side loyalty, Acquirer side loyalty, or both.

How can a bank create a compelling loyalty & offers experience?

Acquirer side

Acquirer data to identify when a consumer spends at a merchant. Can be made available to any consumer – not just bank customers. Merchants quickly setup, own and control the offers, and can easily promote it to their consumers.

Issuer side

Uses issuer data to identify consumer spend. Often funded by the bank from interchange income (in high interchange markets) and used to encourage top of wallet card usage amongst customers.

Can be offered to consumers from all merchants, not just acquired ones.

Easy to use, powerful to deploy

Pollinate loyalty platform

An easy to implement, white-labelable platform for banks that taps in to the “wasted capital” in digital advertising.

Powered by payments data, it creates a hugely rewarding in-app experience that brings together rewards from multiple merchants in a single place.

Hugely valuable for consumers

Powered by payments data, it creates a hugely rewarding in-app experience that brings together rewards from multiple merchants in a single place (without aggregating the value)

Powerful solutions for different types of merchant

Food and beverage

Restaurants, cafes and bars can drive repeat visits and loyalty using an app rather than stamp cards, just like the biggest brands do already.

Health and beauty

Hairdressers, salons, manicure and pedicure businesses often don’t use loyalty schemes due to complexity or digital barriers to adoption. Our accessible system makes it easy to set up and run.

Retail

Independent shops and stores with offers and loyalty drive awareness as well as repeat purchases and visits.

Travel and Hospitality

Hotels, B&Bs, inns, airlines, trains, tour operators can benefit from ‘one app’ loyalty solution.

Merchants can create their own Loyalty scheme

Payment-linked loyalty with zero-POS friction as consumers 'earn'

How it works:

  1. Merchants can enroll, publish, and control rewards in our easy-to-use application
  2. Globally recognised loyalty ‘earn’ mechanic with no balance sheet liability for merchants
  3. Consumers experience a frictionless way to build towards rewards. Points can be ‘collected later’ when they download the mobile app and link a payment card
  4. Consumers earn points, on a 1-2-1 basis, with all their rewards housed in our app
  5. When a reward is available, the consumer can open the app and show the merchant a voucher in-store or online

Merchants can send offers to new and existing consumers

Helping merchants (primarily SMBs) craft unique offers to their local community - zero marketing experience required

Merchants can craft unique and exclusive Offers to local audiences, using our ‘conversational’ tool that guides them through 4 easy steps.

  1. Select from a template or craft their own from scratch. Select a strategy (e.g. ‘buy one, get one’, ‘discount’, ‘giveaway’), add details and description
  2. Target specific customer segments (e.g. new, loyal, lapsing)
  3. Set offer validity period and redemption limits (e.g. 1 per customer, 500 in total)
  4. Add a logo, upload a ‘cover photo’ or select one using our integration with ‘Unsplash’ – a royalty free library with millions of photos to help the offer stand out

Merchants can take online orders

Helping merchants reach more customers and increase sales by engaging 'digital-first' shoppers

A feature that truly delivers on the banks promise of ‘connecting consumers to SMBs’

For consumers:

  • Consumers can place online orders, pay and track progress all through the Pollinate mobile app

For merchants:

  • Access to a ‘standalone’ remote dashboard, with tablet first design, to manage orders generated from the mobile channel
  • Reporting and insights will enable SMBs to take decisions like running offers/promotions to certain customer segments

Banks can build in issuer rewards

The platform supports issuer side cashback and rewards to further encourage 'top of wallet' usage

In principle:

  1. Pollinate can partner with a banks issuer rewards partner to display cashback balance and reward content
  2. Partner content is displayed under a ‘cashback’ category in our mobile app
